Qatar

While in wasn't active here on the blog, I received several new countries that have enriched my collection, one of which is Qatar. Qrat is is a sovereign Arab emirate that occupies the small Qatar Peninsula (total area of 11,571 km2). Qatar has the world's third largest natural gas reserves and oil reserves in excess of 25 billion barrels, which have fueled Qatar to become the world's richest country per capita and achieve the highest human development in the Arab World.  Before the discovery of oil, Qatar was noted mainly for sea trade and pearl hunting. The card, too, show us the great connection that Qatar has with the sea, which surrounds it on three sides.
