Moldova

The weather here is almost the same as it's on the card - foggy and cloudy with rain that's just about to start falling - a perfect day to do some update, isn't it? The first postcard of the day, as you can see, comes from Moldova, depicting Cave Monastery in Tapova. According to a legend, the Greek mythological poet Orfeu died in this monastery and his grave is situated into a niche at the foot of the waterfall, you can recognize it by a slab with seven holes. You can found plenty of information and photos about the monastery  here.

Moldova

Only card from Moldova that I've got for now - The St. George Church in Gapriana Monastery.
Jaroslav sent this card to me. Orthodox Monastery was founded in 1545 and is one of the oldest landmarks in Moldova. Temple has been recently reconstructed, but the card shws its quiet unique atmosphere of old times which vanished after repairs, as Jaroslav says.

He used many nice stamps. I especially like the bug one. Thanks to Jaroslav for this nice card and stamps!
