Hong Kong

As I also started collecting market cards, any card on this theme would be a great addition to my modest collection. Ray of Hong Kong sent me a great view of the open market in Shau Kei Wan. "Shau Kei", he says, literally means "calender" and "wan" means bay. Shau Kei Wan is a relatively old developed town in Hong Kong that used to be a fishing village.
The open market such as this one on the card, he continues, is one of the common types of market in Hong Kong, especially in the old developed area. It is open every day, and people go there to buy the things they need for prepearing meals, but all kind of products can be bought.
