Russia

The card came from Russia several months ago with all the cute crafts of Russian folk art. You'll probably recognize the matryoshka doll, also known as Russian nesting/nested doll, and very often incorrectly  referred to as "babushka dolls" (grandmother doll).
As you may know, it's a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside the other. The first Russian nested doll set was carved in 1890 by Vasily Zvyozdochkin from a design by Sergey Malyutin and ever  since it has been one of the most noticeable Russian souvenirs.
