Chile

And the last card of the day, coming from the  driest hot desert in the world, Atacama! It's actually a lottery prize from Hernán. You can find his great blog here.
Valle de la Luna ("Moon's Valley") is an area  of the Atacama Desert which is said to look like the surface of the Moon. It has various stone and sand formations which have been carved by wind and water, and all of that with an impressive range of color and texture. The valley is also considered one of the driest places on earth, as some areas have not received a single drop of rain in hundreds of years! Thanks, Hernán!
