This card was travelling for quite a while, but was absolutely worth waiting :) Look at all the exotic fruits! I've found some did-you-know facts about Dominica Republic... The oldest permanent settlement in the Western Hemisphere is the capital city of Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, founded in 1496. The flag of the Dominican Republic is the only national flag in the world to feature the image of a bible. Dominican Republic is one of the top ten producers of cocoa in the world.
