China

One more postcard that I found in my mailbox yesterday, this time it comes from China. It shows a post office in Shanghai in the 50s. In fact, I don't know does it show the post office at all because I can't understand a single character written on the window :D I always wonder how do they learn to differentiate all of these characters in China. There is so many different ones and even more different combinations! Did you know, for example, that the functional literacy requires a knowledge of between three and four thousand characters?

Thank you, Devnet, for the postcard and two nice stamps.
