My very first market scene from China, from the hometown of the great poet Quyuan (343–278 BCE) , which should be somewhere in modern-day province of Hubei ("north of the lake"; referring to its position north of Lake Dongting), a province located in the central part of the country.
The postcards shows local people and their life, more exactly a street market scene with fruits and vegetable stands. Thanks to Zhou for the beautiful postcard and two fantastic flower stamps!
